TESTIMONIAL:

My friend and I went on the Broadway tour a few weeks before Christmas.  The entire trip was just stupendous!

Everything planned by Broadway Across America and CTI was fantastic, from the excellent seats to all shows, great choices of restaurants, a wonderful and very unique hotel, etc, etc.   We loved it and will most likely go again

PACKAGE DESCRIPTION:

Broadway Across America is excited to introduce its 15th Anniversary celebration of its “Christmas in New York” excursion – an all-time favorite among our subscribers. Each year your experience pairs two popular Broadway shows with two quintessential New York City Christmas experiences – The Radio City Christmas Spectacular and the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting – to create an unforgettable New York City getaway.

There is nothing quite like New York City during the Christmas season. Peruse the impeccably decorated shops on 5th Avenue. If we are fortunate, some gently falling snow, a cup of hot chocolate… perhaps a cozy café table watching the ice skaters in Bryant Park or at Rockefeller Center.

This package has been thoughtfully put together to immerse you in the magic of the Christmas season in New York City – not to mention access to fantastic Broadway shows while you are here!

Your first evening in New York features an elegant welcome dinner full of Christmas ambiance with your fellow travelers, featuring delectable appetizers and side dishes, exquisite entrée selections, flowing wine and cocktails and dessert.

From there it is on to the exhilaration and wonder of The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, starring the world-famous Radio City Rockettes!  The Spectacular is dazzlingly grand and genuinely moving, an enduring tradition which has awed and inspired for more than 90 years.

Complimenting an intimate and exquisite Q & A lunch at Sardi’s, your second day and third days will feature choices from among the top musicals on Broadway, some of which are opening this Tony Awards season (February to April openings) and others may be new shows arriving the second half of the year. Projecting ahead a bit, some of your featured options may include:

  • A Beautiful Noise, the highly acclaimed new Neil Diamond musical
  • & Juliet, a 9-time Tony Award nominee, is the hilarious new musical that flips the script on the greatest love story ever told
  • Back to the Future, the reigning Olivier Best New Musical and new Broadway success story
  • The Outsiders, S.E. Hinton’s landmark novel turned musical opens on Broadway April 11.
  • The Notebook, the musical adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’ novel comes to Broadway on March 14
  • Water for Elephants, the new musical based on Sara Gruen’s best seller and one of Broadway’s most anticipated shows of 2024, opens on March 21
  • The Wiz, a huge hit on Broadway in 1975, The Wiz returns to Broadway this Spring starring Wayne Brady
  • Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club, Eddie Redmayne & Gayle Rankin star in the Broadway revival of Kander & Ebb’s classic musical
  • The Great GatsbyJeremy Jordan and Eva Noblezada star in the stage adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s timeless novel

Besides the Radio City Christmas Spectacular and your two Broadway shows, we have so much more in store for you!

If it’s staged as it traditionally has been, the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting will hold center stage on the second evening.  This is not a ticketed event and many of our guests through the years have chosen to view the tree in all its glory on a subsequent night when it’s already lit.

Note:  Of course, the second set of dates does not coincide with the tree lighting itself since that will have taken place the week prior.

Your Christmas in New York experience is capped with an insiders’ tour of Radio Music Hall.

Projected as groups of 30 to 50, your package features elegant full-service accommodations a short stroll from Times Square, private town car/SUV service, round trip airfare, lunch at a famed Broadway hotspot and some behind-the-scenes exclusives while every detail of your trip is attended to by our dedicated staff.

For the holiday season there’s truly no better place to be than New York City with ideal timing for shopping and seeing the sights while the Big Apple is decked out in its holiday finest.

Come join Broadway Across America for this unforgettable experience!

How did a poor Jewish kid from Brooklyn become one of the most universally adored showmen of all time? There’s only one way to tell it: a musical set to his era-defining smash hits that entranced the world.

Including a score of Diamond’s most beloved songs, A Beautiful Noise features a book by four-time Academy Award®-nominee Anthony McCarten (Bohemian Rhapsody, Darkest Hour, The Theory of Everything), direction by Tony Award® winner Michael Mayer (Spring Awakening, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, American Idiot), and choreography by Olivier Award® winner and four-time Tony Award nominee Steven Hoggett (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Once, Black Watch).

& Juliet

Get whisked away on a fabulous journey as she ditches her famous ending for a fresh beginning a second chance at life and life – her way.

Back to the Future

Winner of London’s Olivier Award for Best New Musical, Back to the Future is set to land on Broadway this summer.

Welcome to Hill Valley! When Marty McFly finds himself transported back to 1955 in a time machine built by the eccentric scientist Doc Brown, he accidentally changes the course of history. Now he’s in a race against time to fix the present, escape the past and send himself… back to the future.

Set your destination time, New York and get ready to make musical theater history.

The Notebook

Allie and Noah, both from different worlds, share a lifetime of love despite the forces that threaten to pull them apart. With a book that has sold millions of copies worldwide and a film that’s one of the highest-grossing romantic dramas of all-time, the musical adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’s The Notebook comes to Broadway following a critically acclaimed world premiere engagement at Chicago Shakespeare Theater in the fall of 2022.

The Wiz

Everybody look around, there’s reason to rejoice! The Tony Award®-winning Best Musical that took the world by storm is back. Based on L. Frank Baum’s children’s book, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, The Wiz returns home to the American stage with an all-new adaptation. The Wiz premiered on Broadway in 1975 and became an instant sensation, going on to win seven Tony Awards including Best Musical, Best Original Score, Best Featured Actor in a Musical (Ted Ross), Best Featured Actress in a Musical (Dee Dee Bridgewater), Best Choreography (George Faison), and in a Broadway first, Best Direction of a Musical and Best Costume Design (Geoffrey Holder). “Ease on Down the Road” became the show’s break-out single, and “Home” has since become a bona fide classic. That original production ran for four years (first at The Majestic Theatre and later at The Broadway Theatre) – and 1,672 performances – on Broadway. A 1978 film adaptation starred Diana Ross, Ted Ross, Mabel King, Richard Pryor and Lena Horne, and marked Quincy Jones’ first collaboration with Michael Jackson.

The Outsiders

In Tulsa, Oklahoma, 1967, the hardened hearts and aching souls of Ponyboy Curtis, Johnny Cade and their chosen family of ‘outsiders’ are in a fight for survival and a quest for purpose in a world that may never accept them. A story of the bonds that brothers share and the hopes we all hold on to, this gripping new musical reinvigorates the timeless tale of ‘haves and have nots’, of protecting what’s yours and fighting for what could be.

Water for Elephants

The critically acclaimed bestselling novel Water For Elephants comes to vivid life on Broadway in a unique, spectacle-filled new musical.

After losing what matters most, a young man jumps a moving train unsure of where the road will take him and finds a new home with the remarkable crew of a traveling circus, and a life—and love—beyond his wildest dreams. Seen through the eyes of his older self, his adventure becomes a poignant reminder that if you choose the ride, life can begin again at any age.

Directed by Tony Award®️ nominee Jessica Stone (Kimberly Akimbo), with a book by three-time Tony nominee Rick Elice (Jersey Boys, Peter and the Starcatcher) adapted from Sara Gruen’s novel, and a soaring score by the acclaimed PigPen Theatre Co., Water For Elephants unites innovative stagecraft with the very best of Broadway talent in an authentic and deeply moving new musical that invites us all to give ourselves to the unknown.

Cabaret

Willkommen. Bienvenue. Welcome to the Kit Kat Club. Home to an intimate and electrifying new production of Cabaret. Experience this groundbreaking musical like never before.

The denizens of the Kit Kat Club have created a decadent sanctuary inside Broadway’s August Wilson Theatre, where artists and performers, misfits and outsiders rule the night. Step inside their world. This is Berlin. Relax. Loosen up. Be yourself.

London’s hottest ticket arrives on Broadway this Spring with Academy® and Tony Award® winner Eddie Redmayne reprising his Olivier Award-winning performance as the Emcee, and introducing Gayle Rankin as the Toast of Mayfair, Sally Bowles.

The Great Gatsby

Transport yourself to the opulent world of the 1920s as one of the greatest American novels hits the greatest American stage. Starring Jeremy Jordan (Newsies) as the eccentric and mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby and Eva Noblezada (Hadestown) as the enigmatic Daisy Buchanan, The Great Gatsby arrives on Broadway after a record-shattering, sold-out run at Paper Mill Playhouse. Directed by Marc Bruni (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical), this story of extravagance and longing features choreography by Dominique Kelley (So You Think You Can Dance), a book by Kait Kerrigan (The Mad Ones) and a jazz- and pop-influenced original score by Jason Howland (Little Women) and Nathan Tysen (Paradise Square).
