TESTIMONIAL:

My friend and I went on the Broadway tour a few weeks before Christmas.  The entire trip was just stupendous!

Everything planned by Broadway Across America and CTI was fantastic, from the excellent seats to all shows, great choices of restaurants, a wonderful and very unique hotel, etc, etc.   We loved it and will most likely go again

Beverly S. (Austin, Texas) – “Christmas in New York” Guest 2023

PACKAGE DESCRIPTION:

Broadway Across America is excited to introduce its 17th Anniversary celebration of its “Christmas in New York” excursion – an all-time favorite among our subscribers. Each year your experience pairs two popular Broadway shows with two quintessential New York City Christmas experiences – The Radio City Christmas Spectacular and the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting – to create an unforgettable New York City getaway.

There is nothing quite like New York City during the Christmas season. Peruse the impeccably decorated shops on 5th Avenue. If we are fortunate, some gently falling snow, a cup of hot chocolate… perhaps a cozy café table watching the ice skaters in Bryant Park or at Rockefeller Center.

This package has been thoughtfully put together to immerse you in the magic of the Christmas season in New York City – not to mention access to fantastic Broadway shows while you are here!

Your first evening in New York features an elegant welcome dinner full of Christmas ambiance with your fellow travelers, featuring delectable appetizers and side dishes, exquisite entrée selections, flowing wine and cocktails and dessert.

From there it is on to the exhilaration and wonder of The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, starring the world-famous Radio City Rockettes who celebrated their 100th Anniversary in 2025!

Complimenting an intimate and exquisite Q & A lunch at Sardi’s or Carmine’s, your second day and third days feature choices from among the top musicals and plays on Broadway. And while it’s early to have specific shows to list, our 2025 Christmas in New York excursions included every top Tony Award nominee and every net hit show arriving in the 2nd half of the year.

Our team will reach out to you around the time of the Tony Awards to share a set of show options from which to select.

Besides the Radio City Christmas Spectacular and your two Broadway shows, we have so much more in store for you!

If it’s staged as it traditionally has been, the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting will hold center stage on the second evening.  This is not a ticketed event and many of our guests through the years have chosen to view the tree in all its glory on a subsequent night when it’s already lit.

Note:  Of course, the second set of dates does not coincide with the tree lighting itself since that will have taken place the week prior.

Your Christmas in New York experience is capped with an insiders’ tour of Radio Music Hall.

Projected as groups of 30 to 50+, your package features elegant full-service accommodations a short stroll from Times Square, private town car/SUV service, round trip airfare, lunch at a famed Broadway hotspot and some behind-the-scenes exclusives while every detail of your trip is attended to by our dedicated staff.

For the holiday season there’s truly no better place to be than New York City with ideal timing for shopping and seeing the sights while the Big Apple is decked out in its holiday finest.

Come join Broadway Across America for this unforgettable experience!

Show Overviews: (new and yet-to-open shows to be added to this list towards the middle of the year)

The Radio City Christmas Spectacular

Make time for joy this season at the Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes.  There is no better place than Radio City Music Hall to share joy, laughter, and lasting memories as you take in the legendary precision and grace of the Rockettes. The Christmas Spectacular is sure to become an unforgettable part of your Christmas tradition.

Schmigadoon! (12-time 2026 Tony Award nominee!)

Based on the musical parody series, New York doctors Josh and Melissa set out on a couples’ backpacking retreat to rekindle the flame, but instead find themselves in Schmigadoon, a magical town that’s a Golden Age musical come to life. The townspeople won’t stop singing, the bridge out leads nowhere, and the only way to escape is by finding true love—which may or may not be with each other.

The Lost Boys (12-time 2026 Tony Award nominee based on the 1987 Cult Classic film)
Welcome to Santa Carla. Perfect weather. Beautiful beaches. And a charming boardwalk…as long as you ignore all the “Missing” posters.

When a mother and her two teenage sons move to town in desperate need of a fresh start, they soon uncover the darker side of this sunny coastal community. While Lucy tries to piece her family’s life back together, Michael keeps pulling away in search of belonging. As he finds connection with a local rock band and its charismatic leader, his younger brother Sam comes face-to-face with a terrifying reality: When night falls, Michael’s new friends are even more dangerous than they first appeared.

Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York City) (8-time 2026 Tony Award including Best Actor & Best Actress)

Starring 2026 Tony nominees Christiani Pitts and Sam Tutty.

Fall in love with New York City again, or for the first time, at Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York), now on Broadway. A New York Times Critics’ Pick, Two Strangers is “an effervescent new musical comedy that delivers lavishly on laughter, escape, and fantasy.”

You’ll meet Dougal, an impossibly upbeat Brit who has just landed in New York City for the first time to attend the wedding of the father he’s never met. And you’ll meet Robin, the sister of the bride and a no-nonsense New Yorker with a lot of errands to do for the bride—including picking up the groom’s estranged son from the airport. These two strangers begin their journey together navigating New York City, secrets, and second chances.

Hamilton (11-time Tony Award winner)

A revolutionary story of passion, unstoppable ambition, and the dawn of a new nation. Hamilton is the epic saga that follows the rise of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton as he fights for honor, love, and a legacy that would shape the course of a nation. Based on Ron Chernow’s acclaimed biography and set to a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B, and Broadway, Hamilton has had a profound impact on culture, politics, and education. Hamilton features book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler, and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire. In addition to its 11 Tony Awards, it has won Grammy®, Olivier Awards, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and an unprecedented special citation from the Kennedy Center Honors.

Titanique (London mega hit taking Broadway by storm)
Want to find out what really happened to Jack and Rose on that fateful night?

Our story begins when Céline Dion hijacks a Titanic Museum tour and enchants the audience with her totally wild take, recharting the course of Titanic’s beloved moments and characters with her iconic song catalog.

Featuring powerhouse voices and show-stopping numbers (plus, contemporary pop culture and punchy odes to the 90s film), Titanique is a one-of-a-kind musical voyage bursting with nostalgia & heart. It’s a pure love letter comedy, fun and all things joyful!

See you aboard the Ship of Dreams!

Dreamgirls (Starting dates pending for this revival of one of Broadway’s most electrifying musicals)
Dreamgirls tells the story of a young Black female trio from Chicago called “The Dreams,” who became music superstars.   The story follows the journey of the Dreamettes, a hopeful teenage group, as they enter the famous Amateur Night talent competition at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem.  The musical has been a seismic cultural event and one of the most electrifying musicals of all-time, earning 13 Tony nominations and winning six.

Just in Time

Look out, Jeremy’s back! Tony Award® nominee Jeremy Jordan (Bonnie & Clyde, Fiddler on the Roof, Newsies, West Side Story, The Great Gatsby) returns to Broadway this spring as Bobby Darin, the legendary singer whose short but remarkable life took him from teen idol to global sensation. Developed and directed by Tony Award winner Alex Timbers (Moulin Rouge), Just In Time is an exhilarating new musical that immerses audiences in an intimate, swinging nightclub complete with a live band, a stellar ensemble cast, and iconic Bobby Darin hits including “Beyond the Sea,” “Mack the Knife,” “Splish Splash,” and “Dream Lover.” Discover the man behind the music – a once-in-a-lifetime talent who knew his time was limited and was determined to make a splash before it was too late.

Maybe Happy Ending (2025 Tony Best Musical)

Darren Criss and Helen J. Shen star in the Broadway premiere of this new romantic musical comedy.

Inside a one-room apartment in the heart of Seoul, Oliver lives a happily quiet life listening to jazz records and caring for his favorite plant. But what else is there to do when you’re a Helper-Bot 3, a robot that has long been retired and considered obsolete? When his fellow Helper-Bot neighbor Claire asks to borrow his charger, what starts as an awkward encounter leads to a unique friendship, a surprising adventure, and maybe even…love?

Chess  (starring Tony Best Actor nominee Nicholas Christopher)
Also starring Aaron Tveit and Joanna Levesque, Chess is the iconic musical where power and passion collide, and the stakes couldn’t be higher. It’s America versus Russia at the World Chess Championship, where the espionage and romance are as complicated and exhilarating as the game itself. For the two players and the woman torn between them, everything—personal, professional, and political—is at risk… and nobody’s rules are the same.

& Juliet (9-time 2023 Tony nominee – the most fun show on Broadway!)

Created by the Emmy ® – winning writer from Schitt’s Creek, this hilarious new musical flips the script on the greatest love story ever told. & JULIET asks: what would happen if Juliet didn’t end it all over Romeo? Get whisked away on a fabulous journey as she ditches her famous ending for a fresh beginning a second chance at life and life – her way.

The Outsiders  (2024 Tony Best Musical)

In Tulsa, Oklahoma, 1967, the hardened hearts and aching souls of Ponyboy Curtis, Johnny Cade and their chosen family of ‘outsiders’ are in a fight for survival and a quest for purpose in a world that may never accept them. A story of the bonds that brothers share and the hopes we all hold on to, this gripping new musical reinvigorates the timeless tale of ‘haves and have nots’, of protecting what’s yours and fighting for what could be.

Wicked  (2004 Tony Best Musical)

Wicked, the Broadway sensation, looks at what happened in the Land of Oz…but from a different angle. Long before Dorothy arrives, there is another girl, born with emerald-green skin—smart, fiery, misunderstood, and possessing an extraordinary talent. When she meets a bubbly blonde who is exceptionally popular, their initial rivalry turns into the unlikeliest of friendships…until the world decides to call one “good,” and the other one “wicked.”

Visually stunning, Wicked boasts a soaring score from Stephen Schwartz (GodspellPippin) that includes the hits “Defying Gravity,” “Popular” and “For Good, Tony Award-winning sets and costumes and some of the most gravity-defying moments on the Great White Way. Wicked has been hailed by The New York Times as “the defining musical of the decade.”

“The most complete, and completely satisfying, musical I’ve come across in a long time.”

Review by Elysa Gardner from USA Today

Chicago  (The longest running musical on Broadway)

Set in the legendary city during the roaring “jazz hot” 20s, Chicago tells the story of two rival vaudevillian murderesses locked up in Cook County Jail. Driven chorus girl Roxie’s been tossed in the joint for bumping off the lover she’s been cheating on her husband with. Not one to rest on her laurels, Velma enlists the help of prison matron Mama Morton and slickster lawyer Billy Flynn, who turn Velma’s incarceration into a murder-of-the-week media frenzy, thus preparing the world for a splashy showbiz comeback. But Roxie’s got some of her own tricks up her sleeve…
